Environments of the Poor

ADB and 14 development partners organized an Asia-wide conference on the environments of the poor. They discussed the spatial, climate change adaptation, and green growth dimensions of inclusive and sustainable development. See the papers and presentations.

Poverty and Sustainable Development in Asia: Impacts and Responses to the Global Economic Crisis

ADB, together with 12 development partners, published a 540-page book on the social impact of the global recession in time for its Annual Meeting in May 2010 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The book features over 30 selected papers from a conference in Ha Noi held in September 2009.
