Poverty-relevant ADB Operations

ADB's major contribution to poverty reduction is through its country and regional operations. This section of the website summarizes, by region and country, core products of ADB’s support to reduce poverty in its partner countries. Such products comprise, among others:

  • analytical studies on poverty at the country level such as the country poverty assessments
  • strategic recommendations for ADB to support poverty reduction as identified in ADB's Country Partnership Strategies (formerly known as Country Strategies and Programs)
  • selected sector and thematic technical assistance reports
  • selected impact analyses of financial and advisory operations that particularly address poverty reduction and the MDGs

In addition, this website provides key links to the poverty reduction strategy of the respective partner government.
