Poverty Reduction Grant Facilities

  Cooperation Fund in Support of the Formulation and Implementation of National Poverty Reduction Strategies - NPRS Poverty Reduction Cooperation Fund - PRF
Objective Formulate national poverty reduction strategies. Augment ADB’s poverty reduction efforts in a more inclusive and sustainable way.

Scope
  • country-based poverty strategy TAs (with initial priority for BAN, CAM, INO, PAK, PRC, SRI, UZB, VIE)
  • regional training (with ADBI)
  • participation activities
  • Countries classified by ADB in its Graduation Policy as A and B countries, except IND, and including PRC ($12 million)
  • TAs, action research, resident mission consultants, training, participatory workshops, pilot investment projects
  • projects up to $1 million

Approval Process
  • Annual Strategy Meeting with Netherlands
  • Concept Clearance through RSDD
  • Intitial Approval of the Projects by the Government of the Netherlands
  • ADB Approval
  • Annual Strategy meeting and 6-monthly Review Meeting with DFID
  • Concept Clearance through RSDD
  • Initial Approval by DFID
  • ADB Approval
