Consistent with ADB's strategy, the MDGs are increasingly reflected in the Country Partnership Strategies that ADB signs with each developing member country.

In the thematic CPS background papers on poverty and social analysis, the MDGs are a major consideration. Similarly, CPS sector background notes address the specific contribution of the sector to the partner country’s MDG and poverty reduction targets.
