Many Asian emerging economies are searching for capital and investment, while concurrently trying to juggle inflows with stability. In order to manage large investment inflows, local financial systems have to be sufficiently developed in order to absorb any resulting volatility.
This session will look at the level of financial development across Asian countries, identifying development advantages and disadvantages, and sharing experiences on addressing development challenges.
