2012 Training Calendar for Executing Agencies

ADB has designed a training calendar for January–June 2012 for capacity development of executing agencies implementing ADB-funded projects in India. The 35 training programs for the year include the following modules:

ADB procedures for new and pipeline projects,
Procurement clinics for mature and ongoing projects to discuss various procurement issues faced during project implementation,
Highway maintenance for state highway projects,
Financial management and accounting,
Operation and maintenance of irrigation schemes, and
International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) claims management.

Interested executing agency staff can download the training calendar and send their nominations to Vikram Harsha, Portfolio Management Specialist of the India Resident Mission (INRM) or Michael Gomes, INRM Project Analyst.

The topics and resource persons and venues indicated under each program are tentative and may be changed as necessary. Please note that any of the training programs may be cancelled and/or postponed due to unavoidable circumstances and executing agencies will be informed of such developments.
