The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the following project:
The project will finance more than 2,100 kilometers of 22 kilovolt sub-transmission lines to deliver reliable and cost-effective grid electricity to five provinces, cutting household power expenses by up to 60% and improving the quality of life in target areas.
Amount:
$45 million loan from ADB’s concessional Asian Development Fund and a $10 million cofinancing loan from the OPEC Fund for International Development.
