The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the following project loan and grant:

The project will fund reconstruction and rehabilitation of two sections of the Bishkek-Osh road, which passes through some of the poorest districts in the country. The 120 kilometers of upgrades will help cut transport time and costs, enhance road safety, and boost access to services for poor communities. It will also support cross border connectivity and trade as the road forms part of a key regional economic corridor. The project includes capacity building in road safety and performance-based maintenance contracts.

$65 million loan and $35 million grant from ADB's concessional Asia Development Fund. The Eurasian Development Bank is providing a cofinancing loan of $60 million.
