The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved additional financing for the Decentralized Rural Infrastructure and Livelihood Project:

Description

The project aims to improve rural transport connectivity and community infrastructure, and improve the livelihoods of rural communities in 18 poor hill and mountain districts of Nepal.

Amount 

Additional financing comprises an $18 million loan and $7 million grant, both from ADB's Asian Development Fund. Cofinancing includes a $20 million loan from the OPEC Fund for International Development, to be partially administered by ADB, and a $7.1 million grant from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
