Summary of Environmental and Social Issues

The Project will have limited environmental impacts during construction and operational stages. The environmental assessment of policy actions of the reform program shows that the reform will benefit the environment. The establishment of the social and environmental management cell within ASEB will help promote environmentally responsible activities within ASEB. Capacity building of the cell will be supported by the TA under the investment loan.
