The Integrity Division (OAGI), with support of a team of consultants, conducted a project procurement-related audit (PPRA) on ADB Loan No. 1486-BAN (SF): Forestry Sector Project from May to August 2005, including review of 296 contracts totaling $8.17 million. The PPRA found various irregularities, including: bid splitting, complementary bidding, misappropriation of funds, false supporting documents, non-existence assets or assets not registered, kickbacks, and fictitious bidders.
