The Australia TA Grant was established in 1993 as a platform for cofinancing of technical assistance and grants to ADB loans in Asia and the Pacific.
The priority is for financing, on a grant basis, a mutually agreed technical assistance program based on the Memorandum of Agreement signed in August 1990 between the Government of Australia and ADB.
Technical assistance projects covering preparation, advisory services, implementation and other activities that may be agreed upon by the Government and ADB.
The recipients of the grant are ADB’s developing member countries (DMCs) and regional institutions located in such countries.
Australia supports the fund.
