Danish Cooperation Fund for Technical Assistance

What is the fund?

The fund is a single-donor fund established in partnership with the Kingdom of Denmark through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2000.

What are the priorities?

The fund focuses on environmental sustainability and private sector development in the following areas/sector:

• Agriculture and natural resources
• Education
• Energy
• Health, nutrition and social protection
• Transport and communications
• Women in development
• Good governance
• Human rights

What kind of activities will be financed from the fund?

Activities will consist of project preparation, technical training and advisory services, institutional support or other technical assistance services and other activities which may be agreed upon between the Ministry and ADB.

Who is eligible to receive the grant?

The recipients of the fund shall be Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, and Viet Nam.

Who supports the fund?

The Kingdom of Denmark through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs supports the fund.
