What is the fund?
The fund is a single-donor trust fund established in 1999 to finance technical assistance in ADB’s developing member countries (DMCs). The fund has been closed as of 31 July 2011.
What are the priorities?
Priority is placed on projects in private and public infrastructure, development of small and medium-sized enterprises, transfer of environmental technologies, health and education and urban development and water supply sectors.
What kind of activities will be financed from the fund?
Activities such as project preparation, advisory services and project implementation will be financed from the fund.
Who is eligible to receive the grant?
Bangladesh, the People’s Republic of China, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Pakistan, the Philippines, Tajikistan, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Viet Nam
Who supports the fund?
The Italian government supports the fund.
