Description The objectives of the TA are to (i) coordinate and monitor the implementation of the transport infrastructure investments, primarily the second international bridge on the Mekong River, the improvement and rehabilitation of Road 9 in Lao PDR and Viet Nam, the resealing of Highway 1 in Viet Nam and the upgrading of Da Nang port in Viet Nam; (ii) establish appropriate operation and maintenance arrangements for the Mekong River Bridge and Road 9 in Lao PDR; and (iii) investigate and promote the prospects for private participation in the operation and maintenance of the Project facilities, including the Mekong River Bridge.

Consulting Services About 20 person-months of international consultants experienced in the project management and construction, user charge analysis and investment will be required to carry out the scope of work.
