Consulting Services Seventy-five person months of international and 336 person-months of domestic consultants will be required to support various aspects of the Project, including curriculum redesign, materials development, textbook loan scheme design, model teacher training colleges (TTCs) development, external assessment development, design of transition program to improve TTC pre-entrance qualifications for ethnic minorities, and staff development.
Procurement Civil works under the Project are small and scattered throughout the country and are not likely to attract the interest of international contractors. Thus, civil work contracts will be awarded on the basis of local competitive bidding procedures acceptable to the Bank. Each contract for the supply of goods, including equipment furniture and instructional materials will be awarded in accordance with the Bank's Guidelines for Procurement.
