Summary of Environmental and Social Aspects

Construction impact on environment like soil (for reexcavation for road fill materials), and risk of pollution of surface and ground water. There are also social impacts like noise, dusts, accidents, and health. there is also indirect impact on fisheries development. The risks are being mitigated---no new embankment being constructed under the Project, sufficient water pass regulators are being provided along the roads (=/> the design of Planning Commission), required provisions have been incorporated in the bid documents. Road side tree plantation also provided under the Project.
