Viet Nam : Provincial Roads Improvement
The overall goal of the technical assistance is to help the Government prepare a provincial roads project that will contribute to the poverty alleviation programs in 29 provinces in the northern part of the country. The main objective of the TA is to help prepare a project to improve the existing provincial road network in selected provinces that are economically feasible, technically sound, cost effective, and environmentally and socially responsible. The TA will also evaluate the capabilities and capacity of the Provincial Departments of Transport to undertake the road improvement projects.
