Description

Interisland transport services and infrastructure provide a lifeline access for poor, remote areas in the outer islands of Eastern Indonesia. However, interisland transport systems often have poor infrastructure and level of service, have many unprofitable routes, and are poorly connected with intra-island transport networks.
