Summary

The objective of this TA is to prepare projects for possible financing by ADB using the multitranche financing facility (MFF) loan modality. These projects are doubling of 6 existing railway lines and electrification of one existing railway line. The TA will also recommend and formulate an implementation plan for efficiency improvement measures to railway organization, work processes and procedures to complement the physical investments to improve the commercial orientation of railway services as well as a sector analysis of the railway sector.
