Summary

Project Rationale and Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy The TA supports the Government in its efforts to (i) promote regionally balanced development, and (ii) reduce poverty and promote equitable development. The TA is consistent with ADB?s strategic priorities as outlined in its CSP (2004?2008), emphasizing support for (i) promoting pro-poor economic growth, (ii) advancing social development, and (iii) improving governance.
