The objective of the project is to prepare the Southern Road Corridor Improvement Project so that it is suitable for ADB financing. Consulting Services The TA will require 74 person-months of consultant's input, comprising 21 person-months of international consultants and 53 person-months of domestic consultants. The international consultants will include (i) transport economist/team leader, (ii) highway engineer, (iii) pavement specialist, (iv) institutional specialist, (v) road maintenance/road safety specialist, (vi) bridge engineer, (vii) poverty/social development specialist, (viii) resettlement specialist, and (ix) environmental specialist. This will be supported by domestic staff in the same areas. The consultants will be engaged using ADB's quality and cost-based selection procedures, and according to the ADB's Guidelines on the Use of Consultants.
