The approval by the ADB President was sought for the proposed grant to be provided by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) in the amount not exceeding the equivalent of $2.25 million to the Jiangsu Provincial Government of the People's Republic of China (PRC) for the additional financing of Loan 2838-PRC: Jiangsu-Yancheng Wetlands Protection Project to be administered by ADB.
