Summary

Improved regulation will enhance energy trade and support sound energy sector reforms in the CAREC region. The key outputs will be customized training programs for regulators on selected focus areas, which enhance understanding of the economic incentives created by regulatory decisions.

Consulting Services An international training institution, with qualified practical and instructional expertise in energy regulation, will be recruited to design and administer the training programs on selected energy regulation topics. 3-4 international consultants and 3-4 domestic consultants will be recruited for 20 months on intermittent basis.
