Description The rationale for the TA is to support activities that will contribute to high quality content and help ensure the usefulness and relevance of the ADO to policy discussions and formulation.
Project Rationale and Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy In recognition of the strategic agenda as stated in Strategy 2020, the TA Strategic Forum 2008 identified promoting inclusive growth as one of the five key priority reseach areas. As economic growth (and understanding the key drivers and constraints) is a critical element for inclusiveness, ADB will continue to monitor these major issues and trends at the macro level through flagship publications such as the ADO.
Impact Influence the intellectual environment within which policy formulation occurs and promote ADB's reputation as an authoritative and independent source of knowledge about the region.
