Progress Toward Outcome

The TA has undertaken a number of knowledge management (KM) activities including preparation of flagship reports such as the India ADB Development Partnership, 2011 and 2013, and Facilitating Infrastructure Development in India; undertaking of scoping and desk studies on agricultural value chains and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) development; provision of support towards conferences, seminars, workshops, and stakeholder learning events through pipeline and portfolio tripartite review meetings; and participation of government officials in study tours. Publications made possible through the TA include ADB reports such as Development of Solar and Wind Power in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu and Exploring Public Private Partnership in the Irrigation and Drainage Sector in India. The TA has provided a much needed platform for knowledge sharing, networking and cross-learning, in line with dialogues and requests from DEA.

On-going KM activities include support for:

- India Knowledge and Experience Exchange Hub (IKEEH), with the aim of identifying innovative project interventions and good practices in various sectors across states; documenting experiences and distilling lessons; and preparing detailed modules, toolkits, and exchange programs for facilitating the replication of innovations and best practices other states of the country.

- Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) for assessing the development results of India projects on regular basis.
