Objectives and Scope
Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy The Program is in line with the ADB's country strategy for PRC, which is based on four development objectives, including environmental improvements. It is also consistent with ADB's private sector operations policy in the PRC, which focuses on the infrastructure and energy sectors, the financial sector, and environmental improvements. The Program is consistent with ADB's Energy Policy that recommends a reorientation of energy sector activities to address regional and global environmental impacts.
