Transmission pricing arrangements were incorporated in the Inception and Interim Reports and in the two draft circulars.

Suggestions for improvement on transmission pricing arrangements have been incorporated in the Inception and Interim Reports and in the two draft circulars.

The calculation mechanisms for standards and transmission charge components forms part of the Interim Report and the two draft circulars.

During Project Design The project was designed based on extensive stakeholder communication and consultation, especially with the Electricity Regulatory Authority of Viet Nam.
During Project Implementation The project will be implemented in close consultation with all the key organizations in Viet Nam's power sector. An Inception Workshop on electricity transmission pricing review assessment of current arrangements undertaken in June 2014 was participated by various stakeholders whose comments and suggestions were incorporated in the final IR. A Midterm Workshop was completed on October 2014. In August 2015, the TA team confirmed with the government (ERAV) the revised project schedule following the extension of TA completion date from 18 May 2015 to 31 December 2016. Another stakeholder consultation will be scheduled in the second quarter of 2016.
