Bangladesh: Support for the Proposed Primary Education Sector Development Program

Sovereign Project | 42122-014

Summary

The S-CDTA is not included in COBP 2010-11, but it is a continuation of the technical assistance which is ongoing as part of the formulation of Prog3. The S-CDTA is intended to support only limited but urgent areas of ADB's overall TA planned for Prog3, for which a larger TA will be proposed after there is further clarity from the Prog3 formulation process.

The S-CDTA will support two of the priority areas of the Government for a smooth transition from PEDPII to Prog3: (i) improving result monitoring and reporting, and (ii) improving the capacity of the Government in fiduciary risk management.
