Progress Toward Outcome The TA has substantially improved timeliness of safeguard compliance and quality of financial and economic assessment of projects. It also contributes to developing the capacity of the project executing agencies regarding project readiness and implementation.

Status of Implementation Progress (Outputs, Activities, and Issues) Consultants have provided adequate support to all projects in areas of project readiness and implementation. All survey activities have been completed by safeguards consultants. TA will be completed as scheduled.

Business Opportunities

Consulting Services The TA requires both international and national consulting services. Individual consultants are engaged for procurement, resettlement, social development, environment, and transport economics. ADB recruits the consultants in accordance with its Guidelines on the Use of Consultants (2007, as amended from time to time).
