Project Outcome
Description of Outcome

The expected outcome of the TA is increased private investment opportunities in sectors previously dominated by public enterprises. As a result of the rationalization program, moreover, the government will reduce its financial exposure to poorly-performing SOEs, thereby improving its fiscal performance.

The proposed TA will contribute to a broader reform program, as being pursued by the Government, in support of private sector led economic growth.
