Summary

The TA will examine important issues related to the global reserve system and is envisaged to be a key reference of current consensus and differences in the debate of the global reserve system. The TA will facilitate knowledge for regional integration and cooperation, particularly on financial sector and macroeconomic policies. Successful completion of this project represents a further step in meeting the long term impact of ADB's Regional Cooperation and Integration Strategy. It will also further enhance ADB's comparative strength in regional cooperation and integration as identified in its long term strategic framework 2008 2020 (Strategy 2020).
