ADB's Country Strategy and Program (CSP) for Lao PDR 2007?2011 emphasizes the need to develop urban infrastructure and municipal services, particularly water supply and sanitation in secondary towns. The Assessment, Strategy and Roadmap (ASR) for the urban development sector in Lao PDR that is expected to be completed by August 2010 will accord a priority on the integrated urban development approach in secondary towns.
