Summary

The proposed Small-Scale Policy and Advisory Technical Assistance (S-PATA) will support the Pakistan Energy Sector Task Force to prepare a report and action plan on the energy sector in Pakistan. The report and action plan will be presented to the next Ministerial meeting of the Friends of Democratic Pakistan (FODP) to be scheduled in 2010.

Description of Outcome The main outcome will be the mobilization of coordinated and expanded assistance of the international community under the FODP to support investments and reforms in Pakistan's energy sector. The S-PATA will produce a report and an action plan on the energy sector that will be presented at the next FODP Ministerial meeting.
