Summary

The proposed TA has following three main objectives: (i) to make a contribution to identifying key regional issues in conjunction with the G20 agenda (ii) to provide in depth research to support Asia's engagement in formulating G20 policies and actions (iii) to help develop the region's strategy with one voice towards contributing to strong, sustainable, and balanced growth for the world economy and shaping global economic governance.

Project Rationale and Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy The proposed TA is consistent with ADB's medium term corporate strategic priorities for research on regional cooperation. The TA will help provide insights for the role of regional integration and cooperation by focusing on formulating the regional responses in the G20 agenda and by linking Asia's development issues to the reform of global economics and financial governance.
