The Asian Development Bank is working with Indonesia to mitigate climate change and adapts to its effects. The project is helping government agencies incorporate climate change issues into national development program planning, budgeting, financing, and monitoring. It is also helping government agencies that deal with forestry management to address climate change issues. Work is also being done to promote renewable energy and enhance energy efficiency.

- The project implementation is underway : (i) capacity development for 4 districts to implement the national climate change adaptation action plan and translate into local climate change adaptation action plan., (ii) establishment of working group in each district for climate change

- The consultant's scope of work has been added with climate change adaptation indicators for food security development. The expert will work with the national climate change adaptation secreatariat.
