Summary

The Royal Thai Government (the Government) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) seek to enhance the relevance and effectiveness of Thailand's partnership with ADB. Consistent with these efforts, a small-scale policy and advisory technical assistance is proposed to (i) support on-going economic, thematic and sector work needed to inform the dialogue between the Government and ADB and to facilitate the development of the strategic and program alignment between the Government's 11th National Economic and Social Development Plan 2012-2016 (the 11th Plan) and future ADB support, and (ii) support the development of knowledge management systems.

ADB will recruit technical assistance consultants, using individual consultant selection, to provide up to 9.5 person-months of consulting services, comprising 6.5 person-months of international and 3 person-months of national specialist inputs.

(i) Strategic Planning Specialist (international, 3 person-months)

(ii) Knowledge Management Specialist (international, 2 person-months)

(iii) Information Technology Specialist (international or qualified national, 1.5 person-months)

(iv) Sector/Thematic Specialists (international, 1 person-month; and national, 3 person-months)
