The Asian Development Bank is working with the Philippines to improve the living conditions of about 5,896 poor families living in a low-cost housing project south of the capital city of Manila. The project is seeking to build partnerships across society to help the poor and use the experience as a pilot project that can be replicated elsewhere in the Philippines and in other countries.
