Status of Implementation Progress (Outputs, Activities, and Issues)

The Philippine microinsurance development has keeping a momentum since the inception of the TA. ADB will manage the TA implementation to fully achieve its goals, and monitor the sector development pursued by the national microinsurance initiative to accumulate knowledge on the sector.

EA is supposed to submit the draft request for the TA extension before or after the SC meeting scheduled on April 2015. Next review mission will be conducted in the latter part of 2015.

Consulting Services International consultants shall be engaged for 23 pm namely, Microinsurance Business Devt Specialist, Insurance Supervision Specialist, Consumer Protection Specialist, Information, Education and Communication Specialist and National Consultants (60 person months); microinsurance development specialist, regulation specialist, microinsurance business specialist, financial literacry specialist and national project assistant.
