The S-PATA is originally scheduled for implementation from 1 November 2012 to 31 October 2013. However, there was a slight delay in the receipt of the no-objection letter from the Government of Myanmar. The signed TA letter was received by ADB on 20 February 2013, four months after the S-PATA''s approval.

The TA completion date was extended by 12 months to until 31 October 2014.

A national workshop to plan the preparation of the Time Release Study (TRS) was conducted in November 2013. Results of the TRS conducted for Myanmar on three locations, namely Asia World Port Terminal, Yangon International Airport Warehouse and Muse/Ruili Border Post were presented at TRS Exit Conference on 26 September 2014.

A national Workshop was also held on 28-30 May 2014 at Myanmar Customs Training School to review the regulatory framework of Myanmar Customs in light of the Revised Kyoto Convention.

All TA activities have been completed. A TA completion report is currently being prepared for disclosure.
