Project Outcome

Description of Outcome
Progress Toward Outcome As of August 2015, the road database and associated pavement management system (HDM-IV) is operational. Twenty-seven thousand kilometers of roads have been surveyed and data inputted in the database. The consultant has prepared a maintenance strategy and a preliminary 5-year maintenance program. Consultants have trained Public Works staff in surveying, road databank management, and road asset management, and prepared related guidebooks. ADB approved the consultant's draft final report in July 2015.

Business Opportunities

Consulting Services The TA will include consultancy services to be provided by an engineering firm or one with similar qualifications. International consultants (31 person-months) and national consultants (28 person-months) will be engaged on a full-time or an intermittent basis to work with the Ministry of Construction Public Works staff assigned to the TA.
Procurement Equipment procurement will comply with ADB's Procurement Guidelines. The assets will be handed over to the executing and/or implementing agency with the TA is completed.
