During Project Design

The Fact-finding Mission (November-December 2014) and a Follow-up Mission (January-Februray 2015) consulted with Government at national, provincial, and district levels, NGOs, private sector, and PNRM to reach consensus on the design of the project.

The project will be named: Building Resilience to Climate Change in Papua New Guinea.

Consulting Services

In accordance with ADB Guidelines on the Use of Consultants (2010, as amended from time to time), ADB will engage a team of consultants through a firm, using fixed budget selection and simplified technical proposal, to provide 16 international and 20 national person-months of consulting services over six calendar-months. The indicative consulting services requirement of the PPTA is summarized in Table A4.3, and the terms of reference of the consultants are provided below. The PPTA Consultant will comply with relevant ADB guidelines in the implementation of the activities, such as those for financial management assessment, economic analysis of proposed projects, and poverty and social assessment, as well as with the Safeguard Policy Assessment (2009) for safeguards assessment.
