Objectives and Scope
Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy The fund will support Strategy 2020 in two areas: financial sector development and the health sector. ADB s assistance is an equity commitment into one of the largest pan-Asia, non-captive private equity funds focused on health care products and services. It is aligned with Strategy 2020 s efforts to develop financial infrastructure and products. The assistance addresses a sector that ADB recognizes as vital to development, productivity, social inclusion, and gender equity.
