Description
The economic analysis of the Project was carried out in accordance with ADB's Guidelines for the Economic Analysis of Projects. The Project is anticipated to provide a net benefit to the economy by reducing the national debt, replacing current generation with more efficient and environmentally-sound generation, adding new generation capacity, and increasing the overall competitiveness of the sector, resulting in lower electricity tariffs in the long term.
