Description
Implementation agreements and details used by the borrower, executing agency, implementing agency, and Asian Development Bank to monitor project implementation and evaluate impact of the Bihar State Highways II Project in India. The Project impact will be a more efficient state road transport system supporting sustainable economic growth in Bihar by (i) improving the state highway network's efficiency by reducing the travel times, (ii) facilitating safe road transport by full implementation of the recommendations from the road safety audit for the project roads, and (iii) enhancing the government of Bihar's capacity for road asset management and road maintenance. The project outcome will be increased transport efficiency and safety on project roads.
