Description
This provides the final consultant's report for the Budget Procedure Reform, Computerization and Expenditure Management (Assam) project in India.
The project focused on strengthening the State of Assam's capacity to implement its Medium Term Fiscal Reform Program. It has been implemented in close coordination with Project Preparatory Technical Assistance for the development of the Assam Governance and Public Resource Management Sector Development Program (AGPRM SDP) with significant contributions to the program policy matrix. Substantial project support has also been focused on strengthening the government efforts to meet the AGPRM SDP program loan conditions linked to the release of the loan's first tranche.
