Description
The objective of the TA is to support the Government in its policy to encourage private investment in the selection in the water supply sector by promoting fairness, transparency and competition in the selection of project sponsors. The TA will provide capacity building to the Government agencies involved in processing BOT projects in water supply (SPC, PBC, MOC, and CMG) to incorporate the best international practices, and , using the experience gained during TA, will recommend improvements to the standard water supply BOT concession agreement for future BO projects in the PRC.
