Description
This initial environmental examination (IEE) has been prepared for the proposed rehabilitation of the Shymkent-Tashkent Road under CAREC Corridor 3 Project in Kazakhstan to ensure good environmental practice and documented compliance with the requirements of ADB. This road section is a 37 km segment located between km 705 and km 742 of the Shymkent - Tashkent road, which is going to be financed by ADB. This IEE describes the environmental condition including potential impact, formulation of mitigation measures, and preparation of institutional requirements and environmental monitoring for the project.
