Description
Performance monitoring report (as of December 2010) for Gender-Responsive Decentralized Governance in Asia, subproject 8 of RETA 6337: Development Partnership Program for South Asia. The subproject will focus on: (i) addressing policy, legal and other barriers preventing women's equal participation in local decision making; (ii) strengthening women's ability to include their needs and interest in public policy and budgetary allocation processes; and (iii) providing continuous support to enhance women's participation in decentralized governance.
