Description
The objectives of the guidelines are: (i) To develop new procedures, in line with the Law and the national policy, and to complement the methods and procedures as provided in the Public Works Directives (PWD) to enhance the poverty reduction impact of DOR road projects. and (ii) To familiarize DOR officials with basic poverty concepts, its measurement, links between road sector investment and poverty reduction and scope for enhancing the poverty reduction impact within DOR road projects.
